The Falls of Richmond

This is a traditional Anglo-American fiddle tune. I arranged the MIDI sequence in the kind of folk-rock style inspired by Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span. Virtual instruments are fiddle, electric guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, drums, and sound effects.

If you have a synth that can apply effects track-by-track, the whooshing sound in the beginning is done by gradually increasing chorus over a background of interleaved "surf" patch notes.

The MIDI is arranged around the version of this tune as played by Ruthie Dornfeld and Marty Somberg.

This sequence uses an expanded pitch bend range, so be sure to hit that "RESET" button if you don't play it all the way through.
