Plumas Christian School is located in Quincy California which is a small mountain town of approximately 5000 people.  We are located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains two hours drive north of the Lake Tahoe area. Our school offers a wide radius of student travel in the area. Even though we have no bus system students travel from as much as thirty miles everyday. As a side note there is a car pool provided.

Because of our small size we are able to partake in a greater range of student activities. Over night field trips, such as to Hawaii and Washington DC, Christian camps, and mission projects linked with nearby churches are only a few examples of what we are able to do with the students. Not only are the advanced field trips a way to further the child's education, but also aids in creating lasting relationships with fellow students, and wonderful memories they keep forever.

We are involved in many scholarship programs as well as extra high school credit options for college and university funding. Our small size does not limit our powers for college opportunities, in fact it aids the students in being better prepared for college work loads and life. The staff is willing to work in any way possible to aid your child in not only finding what they want to do in life, which college and major interests them, and ways to go about reaching that particular goal.

The Mission of Plumas Christian  is to train Christian students from Christian families in the principles of Godly wisdom for living; it is a college preparatory school with an emphasis on character development.

Plumas Christian admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students in the school. We are a Christ-centered school and are dedicated to ministering to children and families who desire a Christian education. Christian values and Biblical precepts will be taught. To avoid conflict between the teaching of the home and school, parents will be required to sign a form affirming their support of the school Doctrinal Statement.
